Donaueschingen, B 27 / Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis: On Monday, October 21, 2024, at around 11:15 a.m., there was a serious accident on the B 27 in the construction zone between the Allmendshofen and Aufen exits. Accident on the B27: This is the current situation

The B 27 is currently completely closed between the Allmendshofen and Aufen exits. Traffic is being diverted via the L 171 and L 181. The police are on site and are investigating the cause of the accident.

Rescue workers are also on site and are providing assistance to those involved in the accident. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.

According to the police, the accident occurred when a car tried to overtake a truck in the construction zone. The car then collided head-on with the truck.

The driver of the car was seriously injured and was taken to a nearby hospital. The truck driver was slightly injured.

The clean-up work is expected to take several hours. Drivers are asked to continue to avoid the area.

As of 3:00 p.m., the B 27 has been reopened to traffic. The clean-up work has been completed.
