ZDF has announced a new crime thriller series titled "Leipzig Homicide". The series, which is set to premiere in 2024, will star Melanie Marschke and Marco Girnth as the two lead investigators.
Marschke will play the role of detective chief inspector Eva Saalfeld, a tough and experienced detective who is new to the Leipzig homicide squad. Girnth will play the role of detective chief inspector Thomas Jung, a charming and intuitive detective who has been with the squad for many years.
