Kraigg Brathwaite's men hoping to avoid a 2-0 series deficit when they face Sri Lanka in the second Test in Galle

West Indies will be looking to avoid a 2-0 series deficit when they face Sri Lanka in the second Test in Galle, starting on November 29.

The Windies suffered a heavy defeat in the opening Test in Kandy, losing by an innings and 66 runs. They will need to produce a much improved performance in Galle if they are to level the series.

One of the main concerns for the Windies will be their batting. They were bowled out for just 160 in their first innings in Kandy, and then for 204 in their second innings. They will need to find a way to score more runs if they are to compete in Galle.

The Windies will also need to improve their bowling. They were unable to take 20 Sri Lankan wickets in Kandy, and they will need to be more disciplined in Galle.

Kraigg Brathwaite, the Windies captain, is confident that his team can turn things around in Galle.

"We didn't play our best cricket in Kandy, but we have learned from our mistakes," Brathwaite said.

"We know that we need to bat better and bowl better in Galle. We are confident that we can do that and level the series."

The second Test between West Indies and Sri Lanka will be played at the Galle International Stadium from November 29 to December 3.
