'Trendsetter' J.B. Bickerstaff set for return to Cleveland with Pistons
Pistons face Cavaliers Tuesday for first time since Bickerstaff fired
Bickerstaff led the Cavaliers to a 78-80 in 2 1/2 seasons before he was fired on Feb. 19 of this year
Former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach J.B. Bickerstaff is set to return to Cleveland on Tuesday when his Detroit Pistons face the Cavaliers.
Bickerstaff was fired by the Cavaliers on Feb. 19 after leading the team to a 78-80 record in 2 1/2 seasons. He was replaced by John Beilein, who was fired after going 14-40 this season.
Bickerstaff is now in his second season with the Pistons, who are 18-46 this season. He has a career record of 96-120 as a head coach.
The Pistons and Cavaliers will tip off at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
