Taylor Swift Is Bringing a New Tour to New Orleans
A Concert by the Multi-Award Winning Singer Is Coming to the Smoothie King Center on May 2, 2023
In a year full of new music, Taylor Swift is giving fans a special gift with an additional 27 stadium dates. The second leg of her Eras Tour will be hitting the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on May 2 of next year.
Tickets for Taylor Swift's 'Eras' Tour Are on Sale Now
Tickets for the concert go on sale on November 18 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. The sale opens after the chaotic rollout of the initial sale in November of 2022. Due to the massive demand, Ticketmaster crashed after a rush of fans tried to buy tickets to all of the dates in a few hours.
With each new announcement of dates, fans who were unable unable to secure tickets hope to attend one of the shows on the newest leg of the tour. Swift is playing a total of 52 shows on the Eras Tour with 14 international dates.
The “Eras Tour” is the first Swift tour since her “Reputation Stadium Tour” that finished in November of 2018. It supports her 2022 album, "Midnights," which has already broken records in its first few weeks of release.
The Eras Tour will begin on March 18 in Glendale, Arizona. The 1989 World Tour, Swift's last trek before the Reputation Stadium Tour, made stops in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The singer's Red Tour hit the Smoothie King Center in 2013.
