Pfatter Accident Kills One on A93 Motorway
Langenzenn, Bavaria - One person has died in a car accident on the A93 motorway near Pfatter, Bavaria.
According to police, the accident occurred at around 11:00 am on Friday morning when a car traveling in the direction of Regensburg collided with a semi-trailer truck. The car was then hit by a second semi-trailer truck.
The driver of the car, a 45-year-old man from the district of Kelheim, was killed in the impact. The drivers of the two semi-trailer trucks were not injured.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The A93 motorway was closed in both directions for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene.
