Motorcyclist seriously injured in Offenburg accident

On Tuesday evening, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on the B33a near Offenburg. According to the police, the 21-year-old man was riding his motorcycle towards Offenburg when he collided with a car that was pulling out of a side street. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital by helicopter.

The car driver, a 72-year-old woman, was not injured in the accident. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

The B33a was closed for several hours while the police investigated the accident. Traffic was diverted via the A5 motorway.
