Two Injured in Lippstadt Railway Accident
Two people were injured in a railway accident in Lippstadt on Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred at around 7:30 am when a passenger train collided with a freight train. The passenger train was carrying around 150 passengers at the time of the accident.
The two injured people were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The railway line between Lippstadt and Soest has been closed following the accident. Trains are being diverted via a different route.
