No. 6 Jayhawks open exhibition season against Razorbacks

No. 6 Kansas basketball will open its exhibition season against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Thursday, Nov. 3, in Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks are coming off a 2021-22 season in which they finished 29-6 overall and 14-4 in the Big 12 Conference.

Kansas advanced to the Final Four last season, where they lost to the eventual national champion North Carolina Tar Heels.

The Razorbacks are coming off a 19-15 season in which they finished 9-9 in the SEC.

Arkansas lost in the first round of the NIT last season to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The Razorbacks are led by senior guard JD Notae, who averaged 18.3 points per game last season.

The game will tip off at 7 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPN.
