Indiana Pacers vs. Kings Injury Report: Haliburton and Mitchell Set to Return, Sabonis Questionable
Haliburton and Mitchell Expected Back in Lineup
The Indiana Pacers are set to get a boost to their lineup as Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Smith are expected to return from injury for their game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. Haliburton has missed the past six games with a sprained left knee, while Smith has been out for the past two games with a non-COVID illness.
Sabonis Remains Questionable
However, the Pacers may be without their leading scorer, Domantas Sabonis, who is questionable to play with a sprained right ankle. Sabonis has been averaging 18.8 points and 12.1 rebounds per game this season. His status will be determined closer to game time.
Pacers Hoping to End Losing Streak
The Pacers are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and improve their 12-19 record. They are currently 10th in the Eastern Conference standings and are hoping to make a push for a playoff spot.
Kings Dealing with Injuries as Well
The Kings are also dealing with some injury issues as De'Aaron Fox is expected to miss his third straight game with a left quadriceps contusion. Richaun Holmes is also questionable to play with a right knee hyperextension.
Kings Looking to Build on Recent Success
Despite the injuries, the Kings have won four of their last six games and are currently seventh in the Western Conference standings. They are hoping to continue their momentum and move up the standings.
Game Details
The Pacers and Kings will tip off at 7:00 PM EST on Wednesday, January 11th at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. The game will be televised on Bally Sports Indiana and NBC Sports California.
