Hornets try to take down Hawks without Brandon Miller
ATLANTA, Georgia --
The Charlotte Hornets will face the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night in their final preseason game.
The Hornets will be without Brandon Miller, who is out with a left knee injury. Miller is the Hornets' leading scorer this preseason, averaging 20.0 points per game. His absence will be a big blow to the Hornets.
The Hawks will be looking to build on their 2-1 preseason record. They are coming off a 126-113 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night.
The Hornets will need someone to step up in Miller's absence.
Miles Bridges, LaMelo Ball, and Terry Rozier will need to be more aggressive offensively. The Hornets will also need to get more production from their bench.
The Hawks are a tough opponent, but the Hornets have the talent to win this game. If they can play well together and execute their game plan, they should be able to pull out a victory.
Here are some things to watch for in this game:
- How will the Hornets adjust to playing without Miller?
- Can the Hawks continue their winning ways?
- Will the Hornets be able to slow down Trae Young?
The Hornets and Hawks tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Bally Sports Southeast.
