Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Accident on A5

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident on the A5 near Karlsruhe on Saturday evening. The police are now looking for witnesses.

According to initial findings, the 23-year-old motorcyclist was driving on the A5 in the direction of Heidelberg when he collided with a car at around 7:30 p.m. The car was driven by a 57-year-old woman. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and seriously injured. He was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The A5 was closed in the direction of Heidelberg for about an hour. The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the accident.
