Daniel Barenboim and Martha Argerich to Perform Beethoven With the Berliner Philharmoniker

Martha Argerich, Daniel Barenboim, and the Berliner Philharmoniker will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, Op. 15, and Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92.

The concert will take place on September 19, 2023, at the Philharmonie Berlin.

The concert will be part of the Berliner Philharmoniker's 2023/24 season, which will also include performances by other renowned conductors, including Kirill Petrenko, Zubin Mehta, and Simon Rattle.

Barenboim has been the music director of the Berliner Philharmoniker since 1991. He is also the founder and artistic director of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, which brings together young musicians from Israel and the Arab world.

Argerich is one of the world's most celebrated pianists. She has won numerous awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Soloist Performance (without orchestra) in 2005.
