The Saxons remain undefeated after seven matchdays, but slipped to third place due to the draw. Hertha Zehlendorf is now ninth with eight points. After a balanced start to the game, Lok gradually took control and created good chances. But neither Justin Eilers (20th), David Urban (22nd), and Sascha Pfeffer (31st) managed to beat Hertha goalkeeper Bjarne Thoben. Zehlendorf only threatened Lok's goal in the 40th minute with a long-range shot from Philip Sprint. Lok coach Almedin Civa made two changes at the break, bringing on goal scorer Benjamin Bellot and Tom Nattermann for Eilers and Pfeffer. The hosts continued to press after the break, but initially lacked precision in the final third. The best chance for Lok fell to Bellot in the 68th minute, but his shot went just wide.
